Thomas W Parker
ALBANY NY, Thomas William Parker, 79, of Albany, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2017. Born in Troy on March 18, 1938 as the son of the late Thomas and Helen Parker, Thomas worked for KeyBank for 40 years until his retirement. When not at work, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, the Saratoga Race Course in addition to spending winters in Florida after his retirement.
Tom prided himself as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is sorely missed by his family as well as all those who were lucky enough to have known him. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Cunha Parker; his children, Nancy Parker, Thomas Parker and Christine Parker; his grandchildren, Erika Applebaum, Ian Parker, Sean Parker and Cara Parker; his siblings, Michael (Carol) Parker, Joseph (Jayne) Parker; also his brother-in-law, Ronald Green. Helen Green, his sister, preceded him in death as did His aunt, Elizabeth McMahon. A memorial Mass happened Friday, October 27, at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Watervliet NY.
