QUEENSBURY NY — Terry Bogart of Queensbury, formerly of Granville, passed peacefully from this world on Thursday May 24, 2018 at Glens Falls Hospital with friends and family at her side. Born in September, 1958 she was the daughter of the late William D. and Teresa E. (Hlubina) Bogart of Bogarts Trucking , Granville N.Y.
Terry graduated from Granville High School, A.C.C. and University Without Walls at Skidmore College. She was employed in the book industry for many years lastly at the Skidmore College Bookstore as a book buyer and researcher.
After 7 years of dating him she married her husband of 34 years, Lawrence A. Gottsche of Queensbury N.Y. In addition to her husband Larry, she is survived by her half-brother Larry Kamberg of Keniwick, Washington and her fur babies Tula, (terrier) and Murdering Jack Morris, (cat).
Terry had a great many interests among which were classic and silent movies, and the actors and directors. She loved taking photos of wildlife and many kinds of flowers and collected hundreds of cookbooks
Terry was a great lover of animals and asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the A.S.P.C.A. of your choice.
Her family wishes to make special mention of her caregiver and friend, Amanda Drinkwine, for the love, devotion and happiness she gave her in her time of need, as well as her special friend Karen Lutt who became indispensable .
Calling hours were at the Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St. Granville N.Y. on June 2nd from 1 P.M. to 2PM with a memorial service at 2 P.M. A reception to follow at the VFW pavilion on North St in Granville.
