Maria Guadalupe Trujillo Albarran and Antonio Trujillo Alberto met in Santa Ines, Guanajuato, Mexico. They married in Nuevo Chupicuaro, Guanajuato, Mexico in 1971. They lived in La Loma Bonita in Gunajuato, Mexico after they married.
She came to live in Monterey County in 1975, and worked in agriculture in the Salinas Valley. She was very loving, humble, caring, and supportive with a Heart of Gold. She came from Mexico in 1974, with a purpose in mind so that her children would have a better future. Her dream was for her children to continue with their education, careers, and be happy. Anyone that knew her would agree that she was concerned more with the needs and wishes of others than with her own. At the table, she would feed everyone else before herself no matter if it was with immediate family or large gatherings. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to her children, husband, grandchildren, great-grandchild, daughter in laws, son in laws, and extended family. Also, her friends in the community were very important to her; she loved living in Gonzales.
Maria loved cross-stitching pillow cases , cooking delicious mole, tamales, enchiladas, chiles rellenos, ground beef and smashed potato fried tacos with salsa, sour cream, and lettuce, sopes, you name it. All her food was delicious. Her favorite food was clam chowder sold in Monterey, California. She loved Lasagna.
