Bennettsville, SC – Annie Ruth Parker Rogers, 85, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born November 27, 1937, in Blenheim, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Henry Parker and the late Ellen Freeman Parker Radford. Mrs. Annie Ruth retired from Delta Mills and had worked at Herb’s Steak House for over 16 years. She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed spending time with her dogs, watching westerns and working in the yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above and stepfather, Lind Radford; son, Randy Rogers; brother, Sonny Parker; and infant sister, Elizabeth Parker.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Rogers of Bennettsville; daughters, Debbie Rogers Smith and Pat Rogers Freeman (Billy), both of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Melissa Bridges (Tahquan), Michael Smith, and April Freeman; great grandchildren, Ramsi Haire, Timmy Smith, Madeline Cori McLaurin, Katelyn McDuffie, Raelyn McDuffie; and great-great grandchild, Remington.
A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Brownsville Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
