Wichita, Kansas- Vernon E Wolfe. It comes with a heavy heart to say we lost an awesome man, Vernon E. Wolfe, age 70 passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Born on February 27, 1952 to William Wolfe Jr. and Della (Hayden) Wolfe in Fort Scott, Kansas. We pray Adoni (Our Lord God) has welcomed with open arms our Earthly Father, Vernon Wolfe, home. ~ Dad you will be greatly missed.
Vernon retired from Coleman after 30+ years of service as a Welder.
Some of Vernon’s favorite hobbies were being an avid Fisherman and he also loved to Water Ski. He enjoyed boating, hunting and camping. Whenever he could, he would enjoy the great outdoors. He loved animals. Also, he loved spending time with his favorite uncle Glenn and aunt Connie Hayden and his kids and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Della Wolfe, and his brother, David Wolfe.
Vernon is survived by his sons and daughter: Jason and (Erica) Wolfe, Shawn and (Teara) Wolfe, Amber and (Mike) Smith; grandchildren, AJ Smith, Autumn Smith, Makayla Smith and Isaac Wolfe; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at North Star Masonic Lodge located at 212 N. West Street, Wichita, Kansas 67203, on November 12th, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
