Terry Lynn CarmichaelHAMPTON NY -– Terry Lynn Carmichael, age 56, passed away at Glens Falls Hospital on September 7, 2018.

Terry was born on March 2, 1962 in Bennington, Vermont. She was the daughter of George and Janice (West) Jones.

Terry attended high school in Granville, NY. Most recently she was employed at Shaw’s Deli in Poultney, VT.

She will be remembered as a happy, caring, giving person. She was outgoing and loved talking with and meeting new people. Terry was never afraid to speak her mind. She didn’t have an easy life, but she persevered with hard work, determination and a smile on her face. She loved reading and was fortunate to have a photographic memory, so she could always remember it. Terry was a Candy Crush junkie in her spare moments. She was an animal lover, but her minpins were her favorites. Terry will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, mother & grandmother. She felt the legacy she leaves the world is her amazing children.

Survivors

Terry Lynn Carmichael was predeceased by her beloved minpin Sugar 1. She is survived by her parents George and Janice Jones as well as her four children: Jennifer Butler (Shane) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Brandon Butler of Elmwood Park, NJ, Heather Beatty (Jaime) of Elmwood Park, NJ and Matthew Butler (Nicole) of Spartanburg, SC. She was blessed with three grandchildren; Dakota, Shyanne, as well as Olivia. Also surviving are her three siblings: Michael Butler of Kansas, Diane Baptie Butler of New Hampshire in addition to Linda Thibodeau of South Carolina. She will be missed by a longtime friend Wayne McFarren of Hampton as well as her fur babies Shelby and Sugar II.

There will be no visitation or funeral at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, NY. Online condolences may be made at www.robertmkingfuneralhome.com.
