Hudson, NH – Brenda A (Neville) Mitchell, age 76, of Hudson, NH, formerly of Nashua, passed away at her residence on Sunday January 8, 2023 following a period of declining health.

She was born in Nashua on July 3, 1946, daughter of the late John & Ann (Stack) Neville. She was a graduate of Nashua High School.

Prior to her illness, she was the proprietor of Professional Cleaning formerly of Hudson & Nashua. Previously she worked in quality control at Teledyne for several years.

Brenda enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. She loved the ocean and visiting Florida. She was passionate about donating to veterans causes such as the Wounded Warrior Project, and Native American children’s charities.

She is survived by two daughters, Shannon Mitchell of Hudson, and Shelly Mitchell and her companion Joseph Hanby of Litchfield; five grandchildren, Erica Mitchell, Christopher Dudley, Brian Clark, Jr., Katie Orme, and Joseph Hanby, Jr.; two siblings, Cindy Viverios and John Neville; a godchild, Kathy Stack; many adopted children and many dear friends.

SERVICES: Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Visitation on Thursday Jan. 19, 2023 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. Bedford, NH – Lucille L (Mignault) McAvoy, 81, a resident of Bedford, New Hampshire, formerly of Windham, NH and Andover, MA died on Thursday afternoon, December 15, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Lucille was born in Lawrence, MA, on December 12, 1941, the beloved daughter of the late Emile and Arthurina “Lena” (Roy) Mignault.

Lucille attended Sacred Heart School and was last employed at Western Electric in North Andover, MA. Lucille was an avid gardener and an extremely talented painter. Lucille enjoyed playing golf and cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling and going to the opera with her late husband, Ken, of 57 years. Above all, Lucille was a very devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her most precious times were those spent with her loving family. She will be dearly missed.

Lucille is survived by her loving children; Keith J. and his wife Ellen W. McAvoy of Bedford, New Hampshire, David J. McAvoy of Saugus, MA and Laura J. McAvoy-Oczkowksi and her husband Jay Oczkowski of Seabrook, New Hampshire, six grandchildren; Derek and his wife Caitlin McAvoy, Devon McAvoy and his fiancee Lauren Soucey, Alec McAvoy, Ryan McAvoy and his fiancee Gretchen MacCormack and Meaghan, and Emily McAvoy, her sister, Pauline and her husband, Maurice Desruisseau, as well as five nephews and one niece.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, MA, 01810, on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, MA, on Tuesday, prior to the mass from 9:30 am. Nashua, NH – Robert Brian Welts, 89, died Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Courville Nursing Home in Nashua, NH. He was born June 11, 1933, in Milton, MA, to parents Harry and Josephine Welts. He was the husband of Rose (Catalano) Welts. They enjoyed over 47 years of marriage before her passing in 2007.

Bob graduated from Milton High School, Milton, MA, in 1950. He went on to graduate from Boston College with a Bachelor’s in Business and Accounting in 1954, and a Juris Doctorate from Boston College in 1957. He also earned an LLM (Master of Laws) from Boston University. Bob started practicing law in Nashua in 1957, and by 1978, he started his own firm which later became Welts, White and Fontaine. He served Nashua for over 63 years until his retirement in early 2021.

Bob enjoyed being involved in the community. He joined the Knights of Columbus and Junior Chamber of Commerce when he first moved to Nashua. He was a past President of the Nashua Bar Association and was awarded its highest honor- The Lifetime Achievement Award. He was a former chairman of the Nashua Zoning Board as well as a member of the Nashua Board of Alderman.

Along with skiing and tennis, Bob loved to run. He was a member of the Gate City Striders and competed in the last four National Senior Games in both the Road Racing and Track and Field Divisions. He had completed many 5 and 10k races in his life, averaging about 20 a year. He was also a big Boston College Football fan and had season tickets for over 40 years.

He is survived by his son, Ryan Welts, and his grandchildren, Zoe and Hannah Welts. He is also survived by his good friend, Patricia Legere.

SERVICES: A visitation will be held Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 12 to 2 pm, at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St, Nashua, NH. A graveside service will take place 10 am on Monday, December 5, 2022, at East Cemetery, 24 Wheeler Road, Hollis, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend. — Eugenia G Cross, 88 a longtime resident of Ray Hill Road passed away unexpectedly Saturday November 3, 2018 in Keene, New Hampshire.

The daughter of the late Leo and Irene (Soltys) Rubazewicz , she was born in Rego Park, Queens, New York on April 12, 1930. She graduated from Forest Hills High School and then went to work on Wall Street in Investment Banking , she later worked in finance in Brattleboro and Lackeys’ Garage in Wilmington. She retired from G. S. Precision in Wilmington.

Jeanne was a strong woman who enjoyed her family immensely, She was devoted to her Catholic faith and enjoyed shopping, visiting the ocean and camping with her family.

She leaves her daughters Deborah Cross and Kevin Robinson of Stratton, Donna and Mark Yule of Wilmington and Amanda Cross and Kevin Butler of Whitingham, a son Randolph Cross and Nancy Hofer of West Glover, her beloved daughter in law Sally Cross of Brattleboro , grandchildren ; Katie Cross, Amber Robinson, Ashton Robinson, Jason Cross, Weston Yule, Tanner Yule, Cody Yule and Colton Butler, 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Myron Cross in 2005 , her son Michael Cross in 2014 , son Stephen and her sister Rose-Marie Fabian.
