— Jay E Cook, 62, was reunited with his mother, Shirley Curl Cook, after a courageous battle of cancer, Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018.

He was born on Sept. 12, 1956 to Raymond and Shirley Curl Cook, and raised by Elenor and Hollis Goodale Sr.

Jaybird loved to be social and enjoy life. He worked many jobs through life including pipe fitting and construction.

Left behind to cherish Jay E Cook’s memories are his daughters, Kerri Cook Viglione and Kacey Cook Mann both of Fort Ann; his grandchildren, Madeline, Brandon, Gabriel, Francesca and Giuseppe. He had 11 siblings, Kathy Kingston, Shelia DuBois, Paula Adams, Kenneth Goodale, Nancy Villarreal, Wesley Goodale, Linda Monroe, Dawn Rossi, Mary Quartiers, Sue Goodale Berkowitz and Hollis Goodale Jr, his best friend, Victor Mhyrberg along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

At the request of Jay E Cook there will be no calling hours or funeral.

A celebration of his life is planned at The LAWRENCE STREET TAVERN, Saturday, October 6 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Corner of Lawrence and Cooper St. in Glens Falls. His longtime friend Brian Kelly will be playing some of his favorite tunes.
