Dorset, VT – Janice Lorraine Brace, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away at home surrounded by her family following a brief illness. Janice was born on June 9, 1939 in Dorset, VT to Dorothy Bromley and Frederick Baker. She married Robert Brace on April 14, 1955. They were happily married for 62 years. Janice enjoyed animals, gardening, painting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Janice was predeceased by her husband Robert and sister Linda Mattison.

Janice is survived by her children Dorothy Conklin (Michael), Robert “Bunk” Brace (Lori), Aaron Brace (Susan) . Her grandchildren Amanda Briggs (Bob), Jessica Brace, Willis Conklin Jr.(Heather), Michelle Brace (Greg), Jennifer Brace (Sarah), Brett Conklin (Brynn), Joshua Brace (Katherine) . Her siblings Fred Baker, Larry Baker (Shirley), Brenda Linendoll (Randy), Sharon Fairley (Richard) and Bonnie Fifield (Gene). As well as many cherished great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family there will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held in Janice’s memory in the spring.
