John was married at Our Lady of Sorrows in South Orange, NJ on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, July 15, 1955. They met on a Catholic School trip to Rome.

John attended Xavier High School in Manhattan and went on to study at Holy Cross College in Worcester, Mass. He returned to Manhattan to study at Cornell Medical School.

his brother Lawrence Higgins Madarasz, PhD, Contemporary American History
His Wife Margaret Lorraine Langan, darling mother to seven children
He was predeceased by his son Stephen, in Heaven pulling for us.
