Patrick M Perrott

Bennington VT – Patrick Miller Perrott, 88, loving husband and devoted father passed away peacefully at the Vermont Veterans Home on December 28, 2024.

Born in Bennington on April 3, 1936, Patrick received his education in Bennington, was a 1954 graduate of Bennington High School then served in the United States Air Force as an Airborne Radio Operator from 1954-1958. On June 6, 1959 ,he married the love of his life, Patricia (Grover) Perrott at St. Columban’s Catholic Church in Arlington, VT. In his earlier years Patrick worked for several years at local manufacturing companies in the Bennington area. In 1979, he founded a very successful real estate business with his wife, Century 21 Perrott Realty. He was a life member of the Bennington Elks #567. His favorite pastimes were playing cards, gardening and going for his walks.

Patrick was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Patricia M. Perrott and daughter Melissa Ann Perrott, his parents, Richard V. Perrott and Dorothy (Miller) Perrott, his brothers, Donald (June) Perrott and Richard (Betty) Perrott. Surviving children and grandchildren include, Christopher and wife Rosa Perrott and their children, Aaron and Ryan, of Plantsville, CT, and Rebecca and her husband, Brian McLenithan and their children, Cameron and Brianna, of Hopewell Junction, NY, two great grandchildren, Verida and Lucas and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1:00 PM on Saturday January4, 2025 at Sacred Heart/St. Francis de Sales Church in Bennington. Burial will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington. Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday January 3, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM.
