Bob, Muriel and Richard Marshall Reunited in Heaven

Vero Beach, Fl. – On Thursday, January 5, 2023, Muriel Maranville Marshall passed away at her home in Vero Beach, Florida.  She was ninety-four.

Six months earlier, Muriel’s husband of seventy-two years, Robert William Marshall passed away on June 19, 2022.  He was ninety-eight.

Bob and Muriel were incredibly blessed as a couple with five kids, nine grandkids and thirteen great-grandkids.  They were beloved parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and most of all beloved to each other as husband and wife, with friends too numerous to count who loved and admired them.

Bob was a Naval Aviator who served as a pilot and flight instructor during World War II.  He was exceedingly proud of his country and his service.  He met Muriel at the University of Buffalo and they were married during their time there.  Bob would become the World-wide New Products Manager for the Upjohn Pharmaceutical Company. Muriel would perfect the art of balancing marriage, motherhood, incredible meals and effortless hospitality with love and her spunky nature, while Bob could build and fix anything and loved to share his knowledge.

They are survived by their children Linda Marshall, Sue (Tom) Brawner, Carol (Pat) Rodgers, Amy Marshall (Bill Buckhold), nine grandkids and thirteen great-grandkids who absolutely adored them.  Bob and Muriel are now experiencing the joy of a grand reunion with their son, Richard, who preceded them in passing on April 1, 1981.
