Manchester, NH – John P Aiken, 84, of Manchester, former longtime resident of Medford, MA, died November 20, 2024 surrounded by his family.
Born in Stoneham, MA on October 12, 1940, he was the son of James C. and Helen V. (Jennings) Aiken. He attended Medford Vocational High School and earned a degree from Northeastern University.
Prior to retirement, he was employed by Honeywell, Xerox and Raytheon. John’s great interest was the Irish American Club in Malden, MA.
John was loved by many people and never spoke badly about anyone. He enriched the lives of many with his kindness, wit and loyalty. He was an active part of the lives of his three nephews, Peter, James and Matthew.
John is survived by his brother, Dr. James F. Aiken (Marlys Aiken deceased) of Manchester; nephews, great nephews, great nieces and cousins.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 25th at 10:30 am in the chapel at Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 235 Myrtle St, Manchester. Burial will be at a later date.
