Jane E LeCount— Jane E. LeCount, 91, devoted mom, grandma, aunt, and friend, joined her husband, Josiah, and son, Richard, in that heavenly place in the clouds with her children close by.

Born February 5, 1927, in Falmouth, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, the third daughter, “middle button”, of Richard and Carmen (Peterson) Martin.

Following high school graduation from Huntington High, Long Island, Jane took herself to the big city, NYC, to find an occupation.  With her passion to read and write, G.P. Putnam’s found her at their door. Behold! One career began.

On trips back to Northport, Jane soon met the love of her life, Josiah A. LeCount, who she married at Trinity Church in Northport, N.Y. They were married 68 years before he passed away.
