— Irma Sanford, 82, of Hebron, New York passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Granville Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

Born in Lodz, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Lydia (Pufahl) Daher.

Irma lived in Germany and came to the United States and settled in Indianapolis, IN.  She then moved to Clarksville, TN and eventually moved to Hebron in 2011.  Irma studied and became a naturalized citizen in 2003.

She loved to bake, cook, sewing and reading was a big passion of hers.

Irma had worked for various companies and eventually became a homemaker.  She and her husband were members of the Queensbury Church of Christ.

Irma is survived by her husband of 57 years, Amos Tim Sanford; her children, Cynthia (Thomas) Rogers of Hebron, Sandra Hall of Porter Ranch, CA and Lynne (Howard) Hurley of Indianapolis, IN; siblings, Albert Keil, Helene Cosner, both of Indianapolis, IN and Erika (Wesley) Harris of Martinsville, IN.  She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, Matthew Hall, Angela Scott, Victoria Riggen, Stephen Rogers, Sarah Rogers Murphy, Rebecca Iris Rogers, Aaron Hurley, Kiera Durfee, Mark Hurley, Ethan Hurley, Olivia Dolan, Francesca Hurley, Juliana Drake, Alexa Jacobs, Claudia O’Grady, Laura Hurley and many great grandchildren.

A calling hour will be from 4-5 pm Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Queensbury Church of Christ, 357 Aviation Road, Queensbury with Bill McAleer officiating.  A service will begin at 5 pm.  A time of fellowship will be after the service at the church.

Interment will be at a later date at East Hebron Cemetery.
