He worked in Information Systems. He was our guy to call to fix the computers. He had a great sense of humor. Whenever there were problems, it was Arvid to the rescue. My heart and my prayers go up for his family as they mourn their loss. God bless!

Enjoyed working for him and with him all the way thru the time of his retirement. Will be praying God show Himself very close to Ruth and the whole family.

And Christine, Jennifer, Jolene, and Mrs. Bush, let me offer my deepest condolences at your tremendous loss. Your dad (husband) was loved by many, but by no one as much as you guys. It would be special if the memorial service lined up with a date I was able to be in Chicago. We’ll have to see.

I can not imagine your loss. I have very distinct memories of your father. Driving to the campground in Mexico, Pennsylvania your parents opened their arms to me for those weeks and made me apart of their family. I remember picking black berries and your Dad making the best black berry cobbler I ever ate. I remember your Dad taking us to MoodyBible Institute for a day when we were just kids. He would always laugh at our jokes no matter how corny when we were kids. I have faith that he is now in a better place, no longer in pain or suffering reading one of his favorite books or newspaper while watching over your family as they grow. Your family is in my prayers.

I’ll always have fond memories of our two families traveling to Quiz Meets together. Say hi to my Dad up there, and we’ll see you soon!

It was a pleasure to read Arvid’s story and learn about his approach to life and the love he had for his family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
